Notre-Dame de l'Assomption Church

This church, located in the very heart of Porcheresse, was built in 1853 before being ravaged by fire on the night of August 22, 1914. The church as it is known today was rebuilt in 1925. In the past, the entrance was located opposite Rue de Redu and not Rue de Graide.

The site of the former entrance now houses a memorial to the victims of the war. Inside, there were once three magnificent paintings created by Pierre Dubois in 1931. Unfortunately, these were covered over in 1978.
