Ramibuchaille is a contrasting woodland where tall beech stands alternate with impenetrable thickets.

Not far from the walk, the Roli d'Our, on the right bank of the Our, rises 40 meters above the valley and hides the foundations of the fortified castle of Feuilly, a former lordship mentioned as early as the 13th century. Behind the old Moulin d'Our, a rock called the Fraisette served as a refuge for a few French soldiers in 1914, after the terrible Battle of Maissin. In the meadows by the mill, when the mists lift, the White Lady sometimes appears, the fairy who haunts the place. Beyond the meadows, where the waters of the Our churn against large rocks, the nymphs are said to sometimes reveal themselves…

At the La Pichelotte farm, it is well worth visiting the village of Our. To the right of the first house in the village, on the road to Porcheresse, conifers hide the Trou des Nutons. There, the inhabitants entrusted the dwarfs with their shoes and leaky cauldrons so they could repair them. They worked at night, on the condition that they were not disturbed. The name Our is said to recall the first wooden bridges made of scaffolding and hurdles, referred to in Walloon by the term “ours.” The current Bridge, dating from the 18th or 19th century, is of a traditional type in the region, with its rounded parapet, similar to that of the Pont des Gades in Gembes (see G2).

Our has a fortified appearance, with its farms surrounded by walls and huddled closely around the charming Saint-Laurent Church, listed in 1983 and rebuilt in 1820 after a fire. It is a very fine example of traditional architecture. It was once a pilgrimage site frequented by people suffering from skin diseases.
