Pierre Verbeek: Harpsichords and Clavichords

Pierre Verbeek is a maker of keyboard musical instruments. He builds clavichords and harpsichords for professional musicians and amateurs throughout Europe. A graduate engineer and physicist from the École Polytechnique de Louvain, he is also a musician: harpsichord, continuo, and early music ensemble. He has a workshop in Banet Sart, in Daverdisse, where he builds, individually and to order, faithful copies of clavichords and harpsichords dating from the 15th to the 18th centuries. His instruments are crafted with great attention to detail and authenticity.
